Dear neighbor,
I’m a proud veteran who served in the United States Air Force for 32 years, retiring with the rank of Major General. There, we didn’t worry about political party – because you need both wings to fly.
I ran for State Senate as a moderate Democrat in 2012, I’ve worked across the aisle to get things done. Whether it’s fully funding the UC Riverside School of Medicine to train local doctors to address our physician shortage, creating hundreds of new jobs by bringing a state research and development facility to Riverside County, or protecting and expanding our investment in higher education, I am proud of the important victories we have achieved by working together.
I hope I can count on your support for my campaign for County Supervisor as we work together to get even more done for Inland Southern California.
Respectfully,
Richard D. Roth, Maj Gen, USAF (Ret.)
Candidate for Riverside County Supervisor
About Richard Roth
When Richard graduated from law school, he chose to go into the military rather than practice corporate law. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his own father who served our country in the Army during World War II. Richard’s decorated career spanned 32 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he retired as Major General.
Today, Richard serves as our State Senator and continues his volunteer community work which has included serving on the boards for Riverside Community Hospital, La Sierra University Foundation and Riverside Art Museum. He and his wife Cindy live in Riverside where they raised their daughter Nikki and now are proud grandparents to Page and Parker.
